Sexpression Action In The Park

Sexpression are looking for enthusiastic, motivated volunteers to help them for their next campaign, Action In The Park, which takes place on World AIDS Day.

10 people are needed for each of the following slots lasting for 2 hours in Victoria Park: 08:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:00, 17:00. Your job will be to inform passers-by about the day itself and request a small donation for Leicestershire AIDS Support Service (LASS). In exchange, they will be able to tie a red ribbon around a tree in Victoria Park. 2 additional people are also needed for the above time slots to sit outside Queens Hall, asking people to sign a stop AIDS action card if they agree with the Student Stop AIDS Campaign, which is “pushing for the pool”, i.e. aiming to make anti-HIV drugs affordable to all who need it. Certificates will be printed for everyone that helps out.
