Sleep Out is coming

Secret location revealed only to those who sign up

HOMED will be holding a Sleep Out to raise awareness of homelessness in Leicester and the UK, and to to help raise as much money as possible for the cause! It’s going to be a unique way to challenge yourself and see if you can face what hundreds of those who are homeless face every night.

You can participate by:

  • Signing up at the MSB Coffee Room on Wednesday at the cake sale
  • Signing up at Queens Hall on Thursday and Friday
  • Emailing homedleicester@googlemail.com

Each Sleep Out participant is asked to donate £5 as a joining fee, and given a sponsorship form to get as much sponsorship money as possible! Even if you do not wish to take part, you can still help by clicking here to donate money.

Important information:

  • This is strictly a dry event, therefore NO ALCOHOL!
  • We only have a limited number of places, therefore it’s FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!
  • We hope to get lots of media and press attention, so get involved!
  • Everyone who takes part will also receive a specially made, rare and much sought after, HOMED T-Shirt!

Medsin AGM

This is your opportunity to vote for a new Medsin Leicester committee and to hear about all the exciting Medsin activity during the last year including projects and campaigns!

Click to view/download the manifesto booklet and the voting forms. If you cannot make it to the AGM for some reason, then please submit your vote by email (deadline: 7pm on Thursday 11th; any email votes submitted after this time will not be valid). You must place your membership number and name in the subject box.

Membership will be available on the night for £5, and you must be a member to vote at the AGM. However, you do not need to be a member to attend the AGM and support your friends. If you would like membership, please try and get to the AGM a few moments early as we will be pushed for time!
