The nominations for the new Medsin-Leicester committee have now opened. The positions available are:

• Publicity Officer x 2 – Part of the Publicity Team
• Webmaster – Part of the Publicity Team
• Activities Officer x3 – make up the Activities Team
• Educations Officer x2 – make up the Educations Team
• Fundraisers x3 – make up the Fundraising Team

Session costs £1, PDP provided!

CPRiS are running a training session for all of you who want to get involved with our future events in schools and scout groups. We’ll demonstrate how to do CPR, how to put someone in The Recovery Position and what to do when you see someone Choking. We’ll also run through how future CPRiS sessions will run, and let you have a go at practicing too!

First years who want to come can turn up at 11am and your training session will run until 12.30pm.
As second years and above have already done the official teaching session from the Medical School, your session will run from 1-2pm.

Feel free to invite friends, unfortunately we can only accommodate approx. 20 people per session, so we ask that if you want to come please RSVP to cprisleicester@googlemail.com so that we know how many people to expect. The session will cost £1 per person and PDP certificates will be provided afterwards.

So if you want to get involved and learn vital basic life support skills, gain exerience teaching these to others and have an opportunity to work with children and teenagers, come along and get involved!
