Teddy Bear Hospital

Teddy Bear Hospital is a public health project for 3-7 year olds, existing throughout the UK. Our aim is to help overcome children’s fears and anxieties about hospitals, through play. We run regular sessions where volunteers, such as yourself, have the opportunity to teach children about bones, Xrays, first aid, and many more stations! Not only do the children gain from this, but medical students get the chance work with children & improve their communication skills. It is a fun experience, rewarding, AND great for paediatric skills.
